Rob Zombie Tackling "Halloween" Sequel
Variety is reporting that Rob Zombie will return to write and direct the sequel to his 2007 remake of Halloween, titled H2. This confirms a report made by ShockTillYouDrop.com earlier this month. Although Zombie had stated in the past that he had no interest in a sequel, he has apparently changed his mind, stating, "I was so burned out. [But] I took a long break, made a record and I got excited again." STYD notes that Tyler Mane is set to return as Michael Myers, but otherwise no casting is in place. H2 is set for release in October 2009, meaning that Zombie will have to work quickly to put the film together.
