Since then, he's kept pretty close ties with the genre, including a part in Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects. As a huge House of 1000 Corpses fan, I excitedly search the web daily for any new news of its sequel, The Devil's Rejects, so I was obviously overjoyed when I gained the following bit of knowledge: Rejects has moved its release date from August 12th to a much sooner July 22nd! That means that fans everywhere will be able to glare at their favorite family of deranged freaks three weeks sooner than originally planned!

The Devil's Rejects is a film that I am greatly anticipating, and now, people like me have even more of a reason to water at the mouth while awaiting this sequel to House of 1000 Corpses. You see, an update of the official website of the film has graced the web. Actually, this could probably be regarded as more of an overhaul than just a mere update, as the site has been given an entire new layout and a few new features.

Lions Gate Announces Theatrical Release Schedule

Lions Gate Films are pretty much single-handedly keeping the genre of horror… real horror alive. In fact, it's hard to find a horror film these days that isn't being released by Lions Gate. To further illustrate my point, here are recently announced release dates for four highly anticipated Lions Gate films:

The Devil's Rejects - August 12th, 2005
Undead - Now listed as "coming soon," so who knows

The trailer for Rob Zombie's second cinema outing, The Devil's Rejects, has recently surfaced on the web, and holy crud it looks good. The film is a sequel to Zombie's debut film, House of 1000 Corpses, though Zombie has said himself that the film is going to have an entirely different hauntingly realistic premise and tone, whereas 1000 Corpses was more campy and humorous.
