"Evil Dead IV" Still a Possibility

"When he's all finished with the Spider-Man franchise, director Sam Raimi thinks he'd like to go back to his horror roots and add to his Evil Dead series. 'I definitely want to do it and I think after -- whenever the Spider-Man jobs end -- I would love to dig in on that,' Raimi says. 'That's something I'm really looking forward to.'

Raimi to Hold a Second "Grudge"

Sam Raimi's production outfit Ghost House Pictures (whatever happened to Renaissance, anyway?) is looking to fund a sequel to their recent horror remake hit The Grudge. Stephen Susco, the writer of the previous entry, has been contracted to pen the second film in what may become a franchise. The Grudge is a remake of the 2003 Japanese horror flick Ju-On, and the two films shared the same director, Takashi Shimizu.
