New Trailer for "The Strangers"

When we interviewed writer-director Bryan Bertino about The Strangers in July (for an upcoming feature), we were impressed with his grasp on suspense and what made the horror genre tick. When his movie's release date kept getting pushed back, we started to worry that our faith had perhaps been misplaced. However, the trailer has just showed up on Yahoo Movies, and our fears have been dispelled.

Yahoo Movies has the first trailer for Tim Burton's upcoming Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, an adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's stage musical of the same name. In Sweeney Todd, a falsely imprisoned barber (Johnny Depp) escapes from prison and returns to London, giving himself a new name and taking up residence in his old barber shop above the pie store run by Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter).

"Saw IV" Teaser Trailer Online

Anyone dying for a glimpse at the latest installment in the ongoing Saw saga should head over to Yahoo Movies where the teaser trailer has been posted. The trailer clocks in at 53 seconds and doesn't tell you a lot about the film, other than the fact that there will be people writhing in pain and agony.

Yahoo! Movies has posted trailers for Frank Darabont's The Mist (due out on November 21st from Dimension Films) and One Missed Call, an American remake of Takashi Miike's Japanese horror film (due out on January 4, 2008 from Warner Bros.)

Apple.com has posted the trailer for The Signal. The official synopsis of the film: It’s New Year’s Eve in the city of Terminus and chaos is this year’s resolution. All forms of communication have been jammed by an enigmatic transmission that preys on fear and desire driving everyone in the city to murder and madness.

Trailer for Argento's "The Third Mother"

Yahoo! Italy has the official trailer for Dario Argento's The Third Mother, the long-awaited follow-up to Suspiria and Inferno. You can see it here. Be warned that the trailer is heavy on text, and all of that text is in Italian. Still, you can get the basic gist of things from context. The Yahoo! page also contains some exceptional-looking stills and the official poster.

"28 Weeks Later" Trailer Preview Online

Whoever heard of a preview for a trailer? Apparently Fox Atomic did. According to the good people over at Dread Central, Fox has unleashed a snippet of the new trailer for 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to Danny Boyle's hit not-a-zombie film 28 Days Later.... Check out the sneak preview now or wait and see the full trailer before The Hills Have Eyes 2 on March 23rd.

Words cannot describe this trailer-it has managed to open up an entirely new dimension of awesome. In other words: mandatory viewing for even the most casual of horror fans.
