About Me

biography
It started when I was four. My brothers, being the movie-lovers they are, decided that it was time for me to be the same. They showed me the original Nightmare on Elm Street when we lived on Elm Street in a house that was somewhat similar looking to the one we lived in.
After this, there was no stopping me. I watched whatever horror film (and about every other type of film) I could get my hands on. When my eldest brother showed up at my other brother's window with a chainsaw in hand and a hockey mask covering his face while we watched the second Friday the Thirteenth I got really excited, wanting to talk to "Jason" as my brother almost peed his pants.
Growing up, I was sometimes viewed as either (or both) "goth" or broken. The reason being as we watched horror films, particularly slasher films, I never looked away and a smile spread over my innocent face as the deaths became more interesting.
Sadly, I was not introduced to the earlier films from the 20s to the 50s til I was older. I grew up in an environment where the more gore and guts there was, the better. However, I also love realism. Too much blood is just stupid.

I am currently hoping to have a film be reviewed on this website, although it will be a very long while. So, I'll just stick with making fake limbs for the stage and thinking up creative ways to kill people in the theatre.
