JJ Abrams, already hard at work producing the untitled horror film codenamed Cloverfield as well as directing the latest Star Trek film, will produce a supernatural thriller for Paramount, Variety.com reports. The as-yet untitled film will be based on a pitch by Josh Marston (Maria Full of Grace), who is also set to write and direct the film. No details are known about what the plot will involve, but a tight lip has become a trademark of Abrams' producing deal with Paramount.

Marston is also developing a movie based on the Jonathan Lethem novel "Fortress of Solitude."

Sorry about deleting your other comments, but they were the same basic question repeated. We screen comments here at Classic-Horror to prevent spam, which is why this didn't show up initially. In any case, JJ Abrams and co. have not released much (if any) detail on the monster from 1-18-08/Cloverfield, so we just don't know yet.
