"Land of the Dead" Collectible Figures from SOTA

Dread Central recently reported that SOTA Toys will include four Land of the Dead characters as part of their ongoing Now Playing line, which has featured insanely detailed versions of unforgettable cult classic characters such as The Toxic Avenger, a Killer Klown from Outer Space, Darkman, and more. The Land characters set to appear as part of the line are Big Daddy, Blade (Tom Savini's character in the film), and Cholo (as portrayed in Land by John Leguizamo).

Words cannot describe this trailer-it has managed to open up an entirely new dimension of awesome. In other words: mandatory viewing for even the most casual of horror fans. June cannot come soon enough.

Romero Allowed Reshoots on "Land of the Dead"

It was written awhile ago that George Romero wanted to film reshoots that he considered extremely vital for his newest film, Land of the Dead. Well, it has just been announced that Romero has been granted access to reshoot the scenes, and indeed will begin filming them few very soon. Universal, the company responsible for releasing Land, has said that they are extremely pleased with how the film is looking so far, and have decided to grant Romero his reshoot wish in an effort to make the film look "even better".

Romero Talks About "Land of the Dead" and Zombie Video Game

The website known as Dark Universe has posted an interview with George Romero, as interrogated by gaming magazine Edge. In it, Romero says some interesting things about the new video game City of the Dead, which is based in his zombie universe, and talks briefly about his new film, the 4th in the Living Dead series, Land of the Dead. The interview is definitely worth a read if you even remotely like zombies, but then again, I didn't need to tell you that.(read more...)
