Boy, what a week this has been. On Sunday, January 6th, 2008, Classic-Horror's server went down when the hard drive failed. The next day, I discovered that all of our recent backups were either missing or unusable. You can imagine the kind of blood-curdling scream that resulted when found that out.
Anyway, we did have a backup of the site's database from September and with the help of some friends, we were able to recover all of the missing reviews and most of the news/features. I've spent the last week recreating the site's backend (even though we use Drupal, the site design is my own and many of the modules heavily customized) and readding the lost reviews and features. We still have some work to do, but I thought it best to get things back up as quickly as possible.
We're still uploading images, readding news stories, and making various tweaks to bring things back the way they were. Some things have been improved (the joys of having to do something over from scratch with full knowledge of past mistakes) and other functionality has been scaled back for the moment. Since this has been kind of a quickie job, there's probably some things that don't work the way they should. If you see anything, please get in contact with me via our Contact Page.
