Driving in downtown Austin, Texas, this past Sunday took on an apocalyptic vibe when unknown pranksters hacked road signs to warn of zombies, especially Nazi zombies. As it was apparently a slow news week, this was the top story at Austin's NBC affiliate KXAN on Wednesday night. The full report is embedded below:

Thanks to The Vault of Horror for pointing this out.

Amazing

This has gotta be the best prank I have ever heard of.

Greatest. Prank. Ever.

Favorite line:  "they traditionally warn drivers of construction ahead, not zombies."

I love how this story could have been about thirty seconds long but they somehow stretch it into two mintues. God bless the local news.
