While at the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival last month, I had a chance to speak with one of their special guests, Adrienne King, who played "final girl" Alice in Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th Part 2. She was there to introduce a screening of the first Friday, take questions from the audience afterward, and then do a signing. Last weekend, I was at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival at Chandler Cinemas in Chandler, AZ. I met some incredible people, saw some great movies, and had an amazing time. Plus, as Classic-Horror.com was a sponsor for the event, I had the unique opportunity to see the site's name up in lights! What follows is the rundown on Friday and Saturday, the two days I was able to attend.

Classic-Horror.com is pleased to announce itself as a proud sponsor of the 2008 International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival, taking place October 23-26 at Chandler Cinemas in Chandler, Arizona. The Festival kicks off Thursday night with a screening of the Sundance Selection Donkey Punch (2008). Then on Friday, the screenings start flowing and they continue throughout the weekend. In addition to the  festival selections in the categories of horror (Farmhouse, Rapturious, and Rob Schmidt's The Alphabet Killer) and sci-fi (Alien Raiders, Jerome Bixby's The Man from Earth, and Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis), there are also a bevy of shorts.
