So a new Evil Dead game has been announced. That makes this the third time Ash (from the housewares section of S-Mart) will fight a horde of Deadites. When I first saw the news, I thought, "Oh, that's pretty cool." What I didn't know, at the time, however, is that the game also allows Ash the pleasure of teaming up with a 3-foot tall Deadite in an attempt to put a stop to Dr. Reinhard, the main villain of the game (and, according to the game's official site, Ash's psychiatrist), who, while attempting to use science to fully utilize all of the Necronomicon's powers, "unleashes the book's all-powerful Evil on the world - releasing a new slew of Deadites, monsters and spirits, twisting reality into a hellish strudel and leaving mankind with that not-so-fresh apocalyptic feeling." Is it just me, or is the thought of Ash and a midget zombie joining forces to take part in the demise of a mad doctor just about the grooviest idea…ever?
