I am an avid classic horror film buff to the most extreme degree. I have been viewing and appreciating classic horror films for over 40 years. I study with great interest films that make you shiver and tickle your spooky bone. Of particular interest to me are those films produced by Universal Studios and Hammer Films during their golden age periods. However, I do enjoy the occasional American International or Amicus film also. Just don't ask me to like slasher films. With few exceptions, these types of films have greatly contributed to the demise in quality of more modern horror fare.
