"Man-Thing" Movie Finally Gets Release Date

The most unlikely Marvel character to ever receive the film treatment, Man-Thing, has received just that. But that's old news. It has been for quite a while now. In fact, the film has even been finished for quite a while now. So, after countless delays, when the hell are we gonna see this red-eyed, tentacle-faced creature on the screen?(read more...)

"Devil's Rejects" Website Overhauled

The Devil's Rejects is a film that I am greatly anticipating, and now, people like me have even more of a reason to water at the mouth while awaiting this sequel to House of 1000 Corpses. You see, an update of the official website of the film has graced the web. Actually, this could probably be regarded as more of an overhaul than just a mere update, as the site has been given an entire new layout and a few new features. I could describe more here, but I'd only be postponing your viewing of the site, so I'll just leave you with linkage: http://www.thedevilsrejects.com. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Coming Soon: "Zombeak"

One of my favorite things in life, aside from midgets, is satanic zombie chickens. I have always had daydreams about watching movies with satanic zombie chickens in them. Unfortunately, there has never been a movie about satanic zombie chickens…until now! The people behind the upcoming film Zombeak obviously have good taste, as their movie is all about satanic zombie chickens. If you too share a need to see satanic zombie chickens on film, then you should certainly check out http://www.zombeak.com, the official website of the film. In it, you'll find a truly beautiful trailer, information on the cast and crew, photos, production art, and just a little bit more. Visitation to this site is required for all satanic zombie chicken fans.

"Boogeyman" Website Launches

Sam Raimi (director of Evil Dea-oh, come on, I really hope that if you're on classic-horror.com, you know who Sam Raimi is -- the man needs no introduction) and his genre production company, Ghost House Pictures, who recently unleashed The Grudge, are currently pimping the release of their second film, Boogeyman, with the release of the official website (check it out here: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/boogeyman/index.html). From the looks of the website, I must say that Boogeyman looks creative, original, and unique -- everything The Grudge was not.(read more...)

"Amityville" Remake Trailer Rocks

Dead Dog Comics Keep the Horror Comin'

Dead Dog Entertainment is a company I've had my eyes on for a few months ever since I caught an ad for their Night of the Living Dead comic series in Rue Morgue magazine. Fangoria.com recently checked in with Dead Dog to see what projects they have up their sleeve, and they discovered a helluva lot of projects, all of which I have organized and summed up for your reading pleasure:

The Horror Show

If you're not pumped up for George Romero's 4th entry in his Living Dead series, Land of the Dead, you most certainly should be - but I'm quite sure that if you're reading this, you don't need to hear that because you're already geekily fantasizing over what the teaser trailer for the film will be like.(read more...)

"Evil Dead IV" Still a Possibility

Zap2It.com reports the following:

"When he's all finished with the Spider-Man franchise, director Sam Raimi thinks he'd like to go back to his horror roots and add to his Evil Dead series. 'I definitely want to do it and I think after -- whenever the Spider-Man jobs end -- I would love to dig in on that,' Raimi says. 'That's something I'm really looking forward to.'(read more...)
